For many college students, a part time job means slinging pies at pizza shop. Or something like it. Starwood Hotels & Resorts set out to change the angle on part time work by creating the Starwood Student Experience. Land a spot with Starwood and you’re not only earning extra cash, but you’re one foot in the door with a global company – with killer career opportunities in front of you. We were charged with a recruitment campaign that would get college students to think less pizza, more future.
While playing in the lines of the Starwood established brand, we created a story about making that short time in college count. Since the company is located in over 100 countries worldwide, we used great location photography paired with editorial style shots of real students doing real Starwood things. We created a recruitment experience with eye-catching signage and handouts along with a microsite for all interested candidates to go and learn more. The campaign is in progress and performing well.
